Welcome to the big bad world of blogging!

Hello everyone and welcome to our classroom blog. This blog will serve as a weekly online journal entry. It will be a way to earn points for Language Arts class but SO much more. It will be a way for you to get your voice out there! Every week there will be a discussion topic/question posted by yours truly and it will be your job to respond. Your response may be in direct relation to the topic or may be a comment about another student's response. The topics will vary but your job will remain the same. Respond to the topic in as much detail as you find necessary and in as genuine a matter as possible!

In order to receive the credit you justly deserve, when you post make sure your full name is listed.
Happy Blogging.

Blog #1 Hum 3/4 block

Week of September 10-14

What type of "system" do you have in place for having a successful year? Do you write down your homework in the same spot every night? Do you check it off when you complete it? Do you have a homework section in your binder? Do you have a certain time/place at home for doing your homework? Does being organized all come naturally? Is it a struggle for you?

You DO NOT have to answer all the questions above, simply pick one or two and use it as a prompt. Your answer to the weekly blog should be a minimum of two sentences long!  Yes, I said minimum!

Make sure you blog by Friday morning, prior to school starting- and do not put it off to the last minute!

  1. The system I have this year to be successful is to stay organized. If I stay organized and stay on top of my work I will do well and be successful.

  9. Every day during school, I write my homework down in my planner under the right subject, just like all the other kids. Then, when I get home I listen to my iPod and do my homework. After I complete each task, I highlight them in my planner. I'm pretty much always organized, I can't stand it if I'm not. -Tiffany Scott

  11. The system I have for having a successful year is writing in my planner everyday so I know what is homework. Also everyday when I get home from cross country I do my homework on my kitchen table. I'm very organized so that is not a problem. I do my homework one class at a time starting with my first period class and getting to my sixth period class. -Cody Hughes

  15. The system I have for organizing all my work is by using my planner. My planner is a perfect way to write down all my school and homework because it has all the subjects on one page. I also keep a binder and organize every subject into a section in the binder.
