  3. The topic that really got me was the indians and native amerians. I want to know everything about them i can like, what did they eat? how did they grow crops? What was their clothing mad eout of? Did they have shoes or just slippers? I want to study what they ate on islands VS what they ate in the states. What are their names? I wanna know everything possible on the indians and natives living around the US and Islands nearby.

  4. The topic that interested me was when the video talked about how the British attacked. I don't get why they wouldn't just share. There was soooooo much land around them that they didn't have to fight. Those are some of my thoughts on the video we watched on Saturday.

If you want to fit in then STAND OUT<3

  5. One topic that interests me was how the pilgrims at Plymouth made friends with the natives. I can't remember exact details but I know that the natives assisted the Pilgrims by showing them farming techniques to grow food in exchange for the Pilgrims help in attacking the natives' enemy tribe. When the Pilgrims and natives defeated the enemy tribe, they celebrated in a feast which later resulted in the annual holiday of Thanksgiving.

  6. I took this unit last year, because I was in honors. Although I didn't like my teacher, so I didn't really enjoy or remember the material we learned. However I remember that I enjoyed writing an essay about Valley Forge. That was quite interesting. Also, I feel that I never really learned enough about Jamestown, so I want to know more about that.

  7. I think the way the peole who lived in the colonies fought back was intresting. They were verry creative at keeping weponds hiden and not paying taxes. They were also creative at finding ways to get news around.

  8. i think how the pilgrams became allies with the native americans was cool, because most indians became enimies with the setelers. also i think its cool that we have a holiday because of that.

  9. The colonies and explorers interest me the most because the people that made up the colonies or the explorers that explored were not big, strong and knew exactly what they were doing. the people were sort of a rag tag group that didn't know exactly what they were doing. but they were courages and risk takers. If i had a choice i might not have done that. I would love to learn more about these subjects.

  12. On Friday I was reminded of my favorite topic: The American Revolution. When I was in sixth grade, at Explorer Middle School My science teacher was a huge history fan, so instead of talking about science, someone would strike up a conversation with him about the american revolution. Funny right?
Anyway, The Revolution, to me, is a fight for freedom of land, and it made me mad to hear about all the people that died just becuase they were fighting for something that these people told them to go find, and live on, and start colonies! If I was just doing as someone wanted me to I wouldn't want to die.
I just want to say that I am really excited to leaarn more about the American Revolution.

    YOLO,

  14. I think that the first colonies would intrest me to know who owned the land and was there first. Explorers would also intrest me because is cool to know about people who discovered peices of land today.

  17. I really liked the subject of exploring vast untouched lands that were once shrouded in wilderness. These were people that created their own fate and fortune by doing what no one has ever done before.

  20. The explorers interested me because of how they found new lands and made new colonies on the lands that they discovered. This also interests me because it tells how the place we live in today started to form.

  22. The topic that interests me is the explorers. I thought that it was brave of them to travel thousands of miles away from their home and take risks to explore and see the new land that has not been discovered yet. The explorers were very brave to go on these types of dangerous adventures.

  23. I'm really interested in the colonies and the American Revolution. I kind of still wonder what the other colonies did to be successful in America, since lately we have studying about the failures. The American Revolution sounds extremely important, and I can't seem to recall ever learning about it, so I would be interested in that topic.
