George washington resigned from office. This helped our country grow because if he would have stayed in office for life he would have been a king goerge.
ReplyDeleteFor me I think that when George Washington decided to resigned being the presadent it helped us a little bit beter. It well give new ideas and new way of doing things here in this country so that we can learn form are mistakes.
ReplyDeleteI think that was positive influential event was in 1789 when George Washington became the first president. I think this is really important because it showed the rest of the world that we knew what we were doing and that we could hold our own. It was also a historical time that everyone looks up to and remembers as one of our greatest moments in history.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, The Meriwether Lewis and William Clark exploration was the most influential. At the time we had only colonized the eastern US. The Louisiana Purchase however, allowed our nation to grow even larger. The western land or in other words, Our Homes were made possible because of this. A lot of big corporations came from the west, for example Microsoft, Apple and Boeing.

In my opinion, George Washington resigning is one of the most influential. It shows that he doesn't want to be a tyrant, like King George. It also gives a standard to the future presidents.

I find that the most important event was Washington's farewell, 1796. This event because Washington set a trend for all the other presidents and his move made it positive that most people knew what a King George was and how NOT to become one.
ReplyDeleteI would pick the: 1st bank of America. This was an influentail to America because this was the start of banks! If we didn't have this 1st bank... Then we wouldn't have chain's of banks we do today. This was a great idea because it was a safer way for our nation to get loans, & keep our money safe!

I think that most important positive event was purchasing the Lousina Purchase. When Thomas Jefferson bought it, he nearly doubled the land the U.S owned. With that purchase we got new states and kept the french out of our country.
ReplyDeleteGeorge washington resinging was a big influence on America. It was soo big because he showed not to be selfish and how greqt of a leader he really was. This act even made people want him to still be president for his honor.
ReplyDeleteIf i had to pick one event from 1789-1803 that had the greatest positive influence on Ameerica i think i would choose when Washington resigned as president. This sent a huge message to the public and to any future president: the last they they neede, or wanted, was another tyrant as a leader.-Wendy F
ReplyDeleteI choose George Washington resigning as a influence on America. The reason I choose this event was if he had not resigned then we would probably have have life time ruler and that would not be good.
ReplyDeletei would probably say george washington resigning because he set a boundary line for the presidents by only serving for 8 years. also he helped start our government out strong.
ReplyDeleteI would choose george washington being elected as the first president of the new nation. I said that this was the most influental because he fought in the revultioary war.
ReplyDeleteI would pick when the time when george washington basically, 'resigned" as president.I would pic this because it set some of the standards for what presidents do today.
ReplyDeletei would say that the expedition of Lewis and Clark was the best positive influence since the journey helped us move west and find new territory. Also the Louisiana purchase helped us go into the territory without having France in the way to harm us.
ReplyDeleteFrom 1791-1803 the most positive thing is the louisiana purchase because it doubled the size of our country and it helped us find more land west. Also it help Lewis and Clark's journey because they worn't invading anyones land.
ReplyDeleteLewis and Clark's expodition was a positive influence because if Thomas Jefferson hadn't boughten the Louisiana purcahse then nobody would know who Lewis and Clark were.
ReplyDeleteI think the most influential acts was G Dub resigning. I think this because he started a good thing. Instead of rulling like a tyrant he resigned which set a standard.
ReplyDelete$$$ Mikey D out peace last blog of the tri $$$
I find the Louisiana Purchase the most important event because it expanded our country, almost doubling it and allowing us it have the most controll over the large land. Making it so we can move westward.
ReplyDeleteI belive that the msot important act was the expidion of Lewis and Clark expidition was most influential. The two americans (along with Sacagewea) Expanded the country west and more the doubled the known land.
ReplyDeleteI think that George Washingtion resigning was very important because it showed furture presidents not to be power hungery. It also showed that he wanted the best for the United States, not to have full power like King George.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun rest of the tri!
Hanna :)
The most influential thing that happened in my opinion was the Louisiana Purchase. When Thomas Jefferson bought the Louisiana land he doubled the size of the United States. Also, if we hadn't bought the land then it would have been years before the U.S. started exploring and living in lands west of the Mississippi River.

I think that the most important thing was the lewis and clark expedition. They proved that there are no 7 foot tall beavers or any unicorns.
ReplyDeleteI think when George Washington resigned. This is because if he continued to be president there is a higher chance of him becoming another King George.

I think the most influential act was the Louisianna purchase because it gave us much more land. Also because France was eager to give it to us so they would only have to fight Britain.
ReplyDeleteFrom 1789-1803 Lewis and Clark's expedition was a postivie influence because, they bought the Lousiana purchace which doubled the size of the U.S, and impacting us by giving us a chance to experience the West.
ReplyDeleteI think the most influential event was the Alien and Sedition act. I think this is that way because of the fact that it gave us more control over our growing country.
ReplyDeleteThe most influential event of my New Nation TImeline, was the Louisiana Purchase. It greatly affected our country in a positive way because it expanded our land by almost double it's size. Also because it started the Lewis And Clark Exploration.
