  1. I would have to say the xyz affair because evan thow the French disrespected America it showed that America wanted to get treated like any outher county and to be taken serousley and i think that made the American people proud of there country

  2. So, I didn't know that we could use Chapter 11 for our timeline, so this event didn't get on there, but to me, it was most influential event would be the Louisiana Purchase. This purchase literally doubled the size of our country and allowed us to expand West. If this purchase didn't happen, then it would probably still under French control and we wouldn't be able to find states such as Washington, Oregon, and California.

  3. If I were to pick one event in history I would probably pick the Greenville treaty, my reason is that it stopped most of the Indian raids and fights between the colonies and the natives

  4. I would have to say George Washington becoming president because it set a good leader to make good decisions for the country and set a good example for the future presidents.

  6. I would have to agree that the xyz affair was the the most positive event on my timeline. It got a lot of respect for our country and it showed that we could defeat anyone around the world.

  7. I think that the most positive influence to the US during the years 1789-1803 was the Louisiana Purchase. This is because it helped our country expand west and if the Louisiana Purchase never occurred we might not be living in Washington right now.

  8. I'm pretty sure it is the XYZ affair because it got other countrys to listen to us.

PS Garett you mispelled though as "thow"!

  9. I think that the Louisiana Purchase was the most important to our country. If the purchase was never made, then the U.S.A. would just be 13 states and the west coast would be the west side of all of those states. The United Sates of America is in the top 10 of largest countries in the world, without the purchase, we would just be a middle sized country. Oh and our flag would be really boring too.

  10. I think the most important event that happened was the XYZ Affairs. I chose this because it got a ton of respect for our country, because we would not be treated the way we were treated.

  11. in my opinion it was George Washington becoming the first president of the United States. It is the most important because it showed we could have a leader that wasn't a king and we could actually sustain a democracy.

  12. The most positive influential event on the beginning of America was the Lousiana Purchase. Without this plot of land in the hands of the United States, we probably wouldn't be the great big country we are today. This made room for more people to move into the U.S. Also, when other countries looked at the sheer size of the new America, they knew we were a force to be reckoned with.

  13. Kelly Says;

The most important even for the timeline was the Loisiana Purchase. Because it nearly double the size of the United States of America. And it gave us the oppurtunity to expand West. And not we have Washington, California, and Arizona. I agree with Maddie Duffy too. The flag would only have certain stars, not 50. And it would not look beautiful.

    XOXO,
    Kelly Le.

  16. I would have to say that the Lousiana Purchase was the most important. That purchase lead us to have a larger area in the United states. We at the time didn't fight more people which is good. and We did good for our people.

  17. Out of all of the events that happened from 1789-1803, the Louisiana Purchase was the most influential event. It had such an impact on the US, because it gave us twice the amount of land as before. It also allowed us to expand west of there, without having another country to compete with. That is why the Louisiana Purchase is the most influential event.

  18. The louisanna purchase was the most influentional event because it nearly doubled our country and land. If we hadnt had that event, we would be (maybe) still on the small East coast, never find our beautiful WA...

  19. I would say George Washington giving his farwell speach was the most positive. I say this because it showed that he wasnt a king, and set a timeline for presidents to be president.

  20. The Louisiana Purchase was the most important event in my opinion. Louisiana nearly doubled our land as Avy said. Also, Louis and Clark wouldnt have been able to explore the land if the land wasnt ours. Lastly, if we wouldnt have bought the Louisiana Purchase, we would probably not be americans right now!

  22. I think the Louisiana Purchase was the most important as well because we gained so much more land and if it didn't happen, we wouldn't own so much land that we take for granted now. If it didn't happen we probably wouldn't of had the Gold Rush as well!
