Your response may be in direct relation to the topic or may be a comment about another student's response. The topics will vary but your job will remain the same. hey Yal! So My name is Herman. Hammond. Yup that's it, you got it, Herman Hammond. Anywho. I'm a 18 year old that works on a farm. My pa is a corn and hog farmer and my Ma is just a plain old good for nothin' housewife. All she does cook, clean, and take care of little Halle and Kendall, my twin sisters. But enough about them! You want to know what I do? I live on my own farm, well used to anyway. I am now a certified private. I haven't seen much of the world so that is one thing that I am really excited about being in the Army. I'm single so I really have nothin' to come home to becuase I'm butt ugly and have no danged education. Pretty sad huh? Wouldn't it be nice if I had a dentist in the family that way I wouldn't have crroked teeth that were all icky lookin'. That's a little off topic. But yeah! I guess you know a litlle more about me now because I'm here to serve under president Lincoln if it kills me!

I think slavery is wrong and that southerners should be punished severely for what they have done to slaves!

Well... Hi my name is Alvin Cobb. Me and my sis Amy are orhaned so that xplains why our educated is poor. I live in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania. I am 26 years old. I am the First Sergeant, which is 'portant I guess. I am very poudof my country and I hope under Aberham Lincoln we can abolish slavery forever. It's not right, as a Catholic that's what I believe. I hope I can free my other enslaved brothers, my sister Amy is badgering me to cme home so we can move west... But that won't help those people on the planter places. Ma and Pa died on those planter places and I plan to avenge their deaths asbest I can under Lincoln's rule.

My name is George Pickett. I was born July 16-1825.I went to Springfield,Illinois when I was 17 to study law,but that year I was also recruited by the United States military academy.I then attended training at West Point military Academy where I was promised a spot personally by aby Abraham Lincoln himself .I fought in the Mexican American war and was a significant player at the battle of Gettysburg, also known as pickets charge.I have three kids and I wife. My hometown is Richmond,Virginia I am pro slavery but I do not own any slaves.

Hello everyone! I'm Loretta Boyd. I'm a 21 year old nurse from Virginia. Thanks to my wealthy father, I'm very educated. Though most nurses were, I'm not a spy. I don't believe in that! I'm on the fence about whether to act against slavery, but I agree with the abolitionists.
