Hello everyone and welcome to our classroom blog. This blog will serve as a weekly online journal entry. It will be a way to earn points for Language Arts class but SO much more. It will be a way for you to get your voice out there! Every week there will be a discussion topic/question posted by yours truly and it will be your job to respond. Your response may be in direct relation to the topic or may be a comment about another student's response. The topics will vary but your job will remain the same. Respond to the topic in as much detail as you find necessary and in as genuine a matter as possible!
In order to receive the credit you justly deserve, when you post make sure your full name is listed.

to be sucsesfull i will fid the spy and get rid of them i will check last weeks blog and see who wanted to be on the south side the ones who are on that list and on th north side are the main suspects if you are the spy and your reading this know i will know who you are i will find you you cannot hide i will find you spy

Some strategies to be successful could be as simple as being in class on time and being prepared. Also participating in class discussions.-Luke Frey
ReplyDeleteFor the civil war simulation, I don't really have a strategy except trying to get along with each other, staying on task, and and wearing the team's colors. If my team didn't get along, we wouldn't get very many things done. Also, if we all didn't wear our teams colors, then we would loose points.

Some of my strategies to be successful is to play to people's strengths. I will let people who are good at drawing do the drawing challenges, etc. Also, i will try to find the spy. I might not try as hard as Trent and his method, but i will use my persuasion to find out who they are. And when i find out, i will immediately back stab them and call them out :) -Ethan Le
ReplyDeleteTo be successful I will try to lead my team to victory in the point standings by having them study for their quizzes and have them turn in all their homework. I like my team and hopefully I will be able to lead them to victory in the Civil War. I am so excited for this thing to start... -Cody Hughes

A good strategy will be to not get distracted and have someone who can get everybody's attention. We all have to work together and not get sidetracked. In my team (that I know so far) we have some good persuaders and some hard workers. So, we all need to collaborate and get stuff done. -Brian Tran
ReplyDeleteOk Trent that is kind of weird haha. In class I counted up and we have a team that is evenly balanced. The two sides are good athletes and being really smart. Also some of those athletes are pretty smart so i think it will be a good match up. The South also has a great balance and most of them are athletes that are great students.

I am not sure of the strategies we will make. I can tell you that we have more people and that can give us more points but we could also get docked a lot of points. For example, it will be a struggle getting everyone to turn their hw in on time with a large group like the North has. But strategies? I don't really know. Just getting work done and studying hard!

Yes, I have seen that there is quite a bit more people on the north side than the south side. I think that having more people will be an advantage because each person if they stay on task and do their job then the north will be successful - Austin Regis
ReplyDeletei would pull pranks on the north side to earn points and complete hw and get a good score on any test to gain more points. i would wear my exact colors on those days.
ReplyDeleteI don't know much strategies. But ill try my best to participate in class activities, support those days with spirit wear, do the homework etc. The south has all guys and the guys who talk the most so this is going to be interesting!

Some strategies I have to be successful as a team are to work hard, do all the homework assigned, be there everyday to support your team, dress up on spirit days, etc. I don't really have a game plan; just to make sure everybody pitches in, shares the responsibility, and does their best. -Lisa Young
ReplyDeleteTo be successful during this unit, I believe the best thing to do would be to participate in everything. This would include completing the homework on time, working hard, participating in group activities, etc. I will be talking to my mom to see if we can go out and get a few blue clothing items for the spirit wear dress up day things. -Tiffany Scott
ReplyDeleteAs a team to be sucsessful in the simulation I will do my homework and WORK HARD, PLAY HARD. I will participate and listen to the general. Dress accordingly and follow all directions.

I think that the south will win (me) because we are going to have a great general. and also we have less people to take care of because they have more than 2x as many people as us. also I will listen to the general and dress as we are suppose to. and I'm on the team so we have to win.

I think north will win because there is power in numbers. I wish not to reveal my strategies for they are secret but I think it might have something to do with sacrifice. I don't have any blue clothing thus far but I will se what I can do.
