Block 3/ 4 Only!!!!!!!
When we read, The Treasure of Lemon Brown, we talked about things we cherish.
Tell your class 3 things you cherish or adore. Describe in detail what they are and why you cherish them.
My example: I treasure and cherish my family more than I can say, I have two boys and a husband who mean the world to me, not to mention my mother and sister and even my grandmother- they are the most important people in my lives. Another "thing" I cherish are my friends. My girlfriends are such a huge part of my life and I cannot imagine my life without them. Finally, I treasure the collection of old letters i have kept. Some of the letters are ones I wrote as a kid, which I find so cute. Some are letters my parents wrote when they were young. I think that letter-writing tells so much about a person and what they are like at that moment in time, like a snapshot. I love reading them and Riley loves me reading them to him!

ReplyDeleteThe first thing I cherish is my family. They are soo nice to me and love me soo much. They are the nicest and funniest people I have ever met. The second thing I cherish the most is my friends. They get me through the REALLY long school days and are also the funniest people I have ever met. But then again I would'nt be friends with someone who doesnt have a sense of humor. The third thing I cherish the most is my ipod. I love music and you can also watch any show you want too. Also the apps can be very fun!
i cherish my family, my health and my friends. My family is so important to me because they protect me and and teach me things i will need to know to make it in life.my health is important because if i want healthy i couldent do all o the stuff i love to do like sports or hang out with friends. my friends because they are always their for me when i need them the most, i can also talk to them about things i cant talk about with my family.
ReplyDeleteOne of the things i treasure most is my family : my parents and sister, although they drive me crazy, are the most important people to me ever, i don't know what i would do without them. Another thing i treasure most is my friends: they make me laugh every day and are a really big part of my life. Finally, the third thing i treasure most is my pets. I know it sounds stupid but i have 11 turkeys and 6 peacocks... so without seeing them every day, my life would be totally different.-Wendy Fillman
ReplyDeleteI cherish my family because without them I wouldn't be able to make any reasonable decisions. Without my sisters my life would mean nothing, I would have a dull life. Then without my parents I wouldn't have a good education. I also cherish my friends, without whom I wouldn't be able to laugh and cry. My buddies are my life to me. The third thing I cherish is my laptop, because without that I wouldn't be in on anything. I would not know what was going on around the world and wouldn't have a source of entertainment!!
ReplyDeleteI adore my dog. He can always make me laugh and he does the cutest things! He's hilarious and I can't imagine living without him. I've had him for about 7 years now but if feels like I got him just yesterday. He's my best friend through think and thin and I could never live without him. Another thing I couldn't live without are my friends. They're always there when I need them and it's so great to hang out with them. They're a source of encouragment and relaxation. They always understand even when you when you're mad or bawling your eyes out. Also, I couldn't live without my family. They're wonderful and hilarious. We always go around joking and they can turn the worst situation upside-down. They are all absolutely wonderful and I can't imagine life without them.

The three things that I treasure are: My family, friends & my teddy bear.
ReplyDeleteI treaure my family so much because there are always there for me. My mum, dad, sisters, brothers; they're forgiving. If I mess up... They'll say it's okay. Even though I think I don't deserve to be forgiven they do anyway. Yes my family has fights but it's something we get over & talk about one on one. I love them all so much. Words can't explain.♥♥♥♥
I treasure my friends because I don't know where I would be without them. My friends are like an exstention of my family, really. When I ask them: "Do you think this is cute?" They'll say: "Yes" or "No." They're brutely honest, but that's what I love about them. They don't sugar coat anything. They say what's on their mind. They've helped through alot too. They're true friends to me.(: I love them. ♥
I treasure this stupid little teddy bear. Her name is Valentine. My sister got him for me when I was 8 for so. I loved it. My sister & I get in fights like any siblings do. But when ever her & I get in a fight, I hug the teddy bear or I keep it close. When I look at 'Valentine' I think back to all the silly things me & my sister used to do all the time. I giggle & laugh. Then when I'm calmed down. Jamie & I make up with a hug, sorry, I love you sort of thing. It's wierd but that Teddy Bear has gotten me to think back of things I wouldn't have without it.♥ :3

~~P.S. Writing about this brought some memories back!(: What about the rest of the class agree?(:
What I treasure and cherish would be my family, friends, and my xbox 360. My family is the most important because they're the people that I've grown up with and raised me. This includes my favorite relatives, the family I live with(mom/dad/sister), and my dog. My friends are like my outside family. Without them life wouldn't be as great. My xbox 360 is my inside reality. There's many things you can do on it and you could live on it if you had no life.
ReplyDeleteOne of the three things that I cherish most is my family as well. They are the ones that care for me and help me out for alout of things. The second thing i cherish most is my baseball gloves and bats.I have been playing baseball for about six years and having them brings back so many memories from thoese years.Last I cherish muy ipod. I love to hear alout of music so it is a way to keep them all in one little ipod, even though I got it last christmas and I have around 30 songs.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I cherish would be my family. I have a really big family, 9 uncles and aunts! and 16 cousins. Some live in far away places but when they come in town, we always have the best time together. My grandparents are what I cherish the most. They raised me as a kid and take care of me even today. Also, I cherish the photos of our Chinese New Year parties. Everyone comes together at our grandparent's house and we have a blast. I also treasure my friends. From the ones at my old school to the new friends at Maywood, they are good people. But I'd have to say that my friends at my old school were a little more RESPECTFUL (josh).
ReplyDeletethree things i charish are my family, my friends and my dogs. My family is super suportive and help me with anything and everything, and they will for forever. My friends help me and really understand my humer sometimes and are helpful. my dogs aree a privaledge to have because a lot of people dont have pets and my parents did not want to get them. Without them i would have no one to play with when i am hyper.
ReplyDeleteMike D I'm out son YEEEEEEAAAAAA$$$$$$$$$$$$
I cherish alot of things, but the three things I most cherish would be my family, my stuff animal Denis, and my friends. The reson i cherish my family is that I know that my family will always be there when I need them. I cherish my stuffed animal Denis because my dad got him for me during my parents divorse and he also keeped all the monsters away. I cherish my friends too because they also supprot, but when I am with my friend I feel like I can trust them.
ReplyDeleteThe first think I charish is my Family. (including my dog) Yeah, they can get annoying sometimes but I wouldn't be myself without them. They have taught my many important lessons and make me laugh all the time!! STORY TIME: my dog has this spurt of energy that she gets when she is running around in the backyard where she tucks in her tail and runs loops around the yard. She gets the funniest look on her face!! It makes me laugh every time. <3<3 Another thing that I cherish would be my friends. I live for my friends, they are my family. They help me get though the good times and bad. Last year my mom had cancer and without my friends I don't know if I could have handled it. My friends are the best. They support me and make sure that I keep my crazy ideas 'sane.' The last thing that I cherish would be Montana. (yes the place) Most of my family is there and I usually get to see them one to two times a year. When I am there I feel like I am home. My cousin, who is our age, and I always go into the camp gound on the ATVs and just have fun. It is really a place I could call home, most of my favorite memories occured there.
ReplyDelete-Hanna :) <3
What I treasure and cherish would be my family, friends, and my home. I treasure my family the most important treasure to me because with out them I would not even exist and they always make me laugh when I am down. I also cherish my friends because we all have something incommon to talk about on the walk to school like what video games we played last night and what we think is cool. Last but not least is my home. i love living in a two stroy house and all of my family has thier own rooms. With out my home i would be a hobo with out any friends
ReplyDeleteWhat do I cherish? for starters my family and friends (they go in the same column, because my friends are pretty much part of my family) because I love them to death and they're always there for me. Something else I cherish is my black belt. I worked for 5years to get that thing, and it brings back memories every time I look at it. It makes me feel accomplished. A 3rd thing I cherish is my laptop. My laptop has old pictures on it, and random stories I typed up.

The three things I cherish most are my friends, my family, and my cat Sammy. My friends can always make me laugh and I know they will always be there for me. My family is also very important to me. I know that my parents will always support me and that I can tell them anything. The last thing I cherish would be my cat Sammy. My cat always sleeps with me every night. Also no matter how mad I get with him for be annoying he always comes back five minutes later for pets.

Three things I cherish are my family, my friends, and memories of family vacations. I treasure my family, because those are the ones who love you unconditionally. Although my siblings & I fight, we're all always there for each other. Even after a bad day at school, I know I can count on being cheered up from my family. They can always make me laugh, and they make you realize the good things in life, instead of something stupid happening at school. Plus, my parents have gave up so much for me, and done so much for me. I treasure my friends, because they accept me for who I am. I can be myself around them, and they're the ones who get me through the days. Last of all, memories of family trips. Pictures, videos, and just plain memories of vacations make me smile. They remind me of the good times we've had, and I just love spending time with my family.
ReplyDelete-Christine, (:
The things that I cherish are my friends, family, and (this may be stupid and cliche) my iPod. WIth my family, it is probably as big as Ben's. Maybe even a little bigger. I have like, 15 cousins and about 11 or 12 aunts and uncles (mostly on my mom's side). I also have a little bro and i don't have much to say about hem except that he drives me crazy. As for my friends, I have been going to this district since third grade and I still know some of my friends from preschool. I lost some friends but gained new ones in their places.
ReplyDeleteAnd last but not least, my iPod. I usually don't go anywhere without it. I got it for christmas a couple of christmases ago and it still hasn't worn out or anything. It is sometimes my only source of entertainment for me (when my dad is using our computer). There are lots of other things i cherish but not as much as these things.
i cherish my family! without out my family i would have a boring life. i do the most with my family! i also cherish my friends!!! they get me through tough time!and make my life exciting! i also cherish pictures of my dog! she passed away in 2009. i had her since i was three! she was my favorite! she was the best dog ever! i will never forget her!
ReplyDeleteMy one, and only treasure, is most definetly, my best friends. No words in the dictionary, thesaurus, encyclopedia, or GOOGLE, can describe, how much i love them , and how much they mean to me. They are always, always, always there for me. they bring a smile to my face everyday, and i would be no where, i'd be nothing, i would die, without them. On nights where i am stressed out, or i have a terrible day, i know that i don't even have to tell them, they always know how to cheer me up. Emily, Sydney, Maily, Tyler, Christina, Georgia, and Edwin are my best friends, and i love them so much.
ReplyDeleteThe second thing i cherish most is my family. I sometimes don't get along with my little sister, and my parents constantly drive me up a wall, but they are my family, and i love them dearly. They are hilarious and fun loving. I love my older sister so much. she is my idol. She is so beautiful, and she lives life freely with passion. She makes my whole family very proud while at college at WSU. I hope to grow up just like her.
The third thing I cherish most, is really, just my life. I cherish my health. I have bad Asthma and missed ALOT of school in elementry school, so now that im older, i'm glad I have gotten better. And so with cherishing my life, I live life to it's fullest. I try to be friends with everyone, keeping old and new friends. Every day, I wake up with a smile on my face, because I think of the kids all around the world, who wake up, having to walk miles, barefooted, just to get water, or to get food. The kids who look after their little siblings when they are you know, nine years old, and who love their family so much and live life with a smile on their face, just because they are fortunate enough to be ALIVE, and to be able to even have family. They give me hope in my life. They give me kinda of a reality chek, to realize, how INCREDIBLY fortunate i am to have such a great life, that SO many people would kill for. I definetly cherish my life the most.
<3 Marie. (:
I cherish my dog because she is my first dog. My family didn't really think we were going to get her but we did. Even though she is an annoying, little lap dog, I still chrish her. I also cherish my families piano because I love to play it. This was the first instrument I played and I like playing it. The piano is about 114 years old and is out of tune, so it's not that good; but it was my fathers piano as a boy and now we both play it. The third thing to say I cherish would be my family because who can live without one. There's my dad, mom and three sisters. there is also extended family like my guy cousins, there like brothers to me.

One thing that i cherish is my family because i have a huge family i have a lot of aunts, uncles, and grandparents. A lot of my family is really young which is pretty awesome. Another thing i cherish is my dog because i have had him for 10 or 11 years. I grew up with him and he's been a big part of my life. The third thing i cherished the most is my phone because i like to talk to all my friends and when im really bored i can talk to one of my friends.
ReplyDelete3 things I charish are my big blue stuffed bunny, my teddy bear blanket and a picture of my dad and I. My big blue stuffed bunny is what it's called, a big blue stuffed bunny. I charish it because my uncle gave it to me when I i was really little. I remember when he gave it to me, it was at his house and he was very sick but I don't remember what he had. Anyways, I remember seeing all the tubes connected to him and how unhappy he looked, I went to hug him and he gave m the bunny, it was about as tall as I was. Shortly after that he passed away and to this day it still sleeps in my bed right next to me. I charish is my teddy bear blankey, I cannot sleep without it. I even sometimes bring it to my friends houses! It's my baby blanket even though it's quite large. It's red with brown bear and blue plaid lines. The third thing I charish is a picture of my dad and I. In the picture im little and holding a fish. He's squating right next to me. I charish this because im a complete daddy's girl and always have been and I miss the days where I would go fishing with him. If he were to ask me today I would say no.

I cherish my Best friends, Music, and family/ pets. My best friends are the people im closest to, I tell them absolutley everything! They help me and know the real me and I wouldnt trade them for the world. Music is my life there is not one moment that I cant relate a song to. I am always listening to it. family and pets are kinda close to me but im usually with friends.
ReplyDeleteThe three thing i cherish most are Family Friends and my skis. My family is awesome. We spend a lot of time together and have to many memories to count. One of the most important things though are my friends. Without friends pretty much everything i do wouldn't be any fun. And last but not least my SKISSSSSS!!!!!!!! I love to ski so much. it's my passion. It's what i look forward to every weekend skiing and chillin with friends. In my mind there is nothing better then that and that is why i love my ski so much.
ReplyDeleteOne think I cherish the most would be my family. They always support me in everything I do. They give me courage to stay strong when I wasn't able to. Without them I don't think I would be who I am today. I also cherish all of my friends who were always there for me through my ups and downs, they are really supportive and I wouldn't know what to do without them, they are simply amazing. I wouldn't trade our friendship for the world. The last thing I cherish is my phone. My phone is like the link to life. I don't have any words to explain how much I cherish my phone. Without it I'd die.
