  1. A hero to me is someone who thinks of others before they think of themselves. They try to help people without asking for anything in return. They're nice, and altruistic and some people might not notice them sometimes. Heros don't always have to be characters like Superman or Batman, they can be everyday people in your life. To me, my heros would have to be my friends and family. They're always there for support, and help me whenever possible. In the book I just read, "The Summer I Turned Pretty" the mom is the hero, because she has breast cancer and still pushes through with a smile on her face.

  2. Kelly says;

    My MOM. She is my hero forever and eternity. "You never know what you have until its really gone" But anyways, a hero is somebody that you say; I want to be that person. You make me want to be a better person. You inspire me to be live life to the fullest, be who I am, love everyone. My mom has gone through so much in her life and makes me want to go far in life. She imagrated from Vietnam to here, and let me tell you boys & girls, it was not a pleasant journey. I say celebrites have it the easy life. But, no. I really do too. She loves me like no other. She always has my back. She is my best friend.

    Til death do us apart.
    And for every girl who has a mom, they would know what I am talking about, hopefully. It's your mom.

    XOXO, Kelly Le.

  3. what makes a hero for me is if someone does somthing nice too someone and does not ask for anything in return. i consider M. king to be a hero because he believed that blacks should be free of slavery and he did not want any thing in return from his people just the thought that he did somthing good for the nation. tthat is why i love people like that in the world

  4. well in away i have had many heros, my mother and her fience are heros for supporting me with everything i do and so is the rest of my family, my friends are always there and always happy for me but there are two pepole i really think of as heros. One of these pepoles name i wont use, but i think they are a hero because they have taken a talent they have and became an amazing person, i feel like this hero trys to hide from his loveing and talented soul but i know he has one, he is not only my hero but some one i really look up to beacuse he bealives in himself. The other one of my heros name is colton, he is a highschooler that goes to my church, colton to me is a hero for the same reasons, although something special about him is he is almost like a brother, he chears me up and supports me better then anyone and he even helped me by writing and recording guitar to my talentshow audition song. I feel these two boys havent changed the world but they have given others hope and really inspired me.

  11. So i guess i did that wrong?
    A hero is a person who does good to make others happy not to make others like them, some one who goes out of there way to make someone elses day, and not ask for a good day in return.

  12. A hero is someone who does justice for the good of others instead of him or herself. A hero would never act selfish or unkind to others and will do what's in their power to help them out.

  13. A hero is someone who is courageous and bold. Someone who is willing to do what ever it takes to do something. When I think of heroes i think of the U.S. Navy SEALs because they are so well trained and they are always willing to risk their lives for our country.

  14. A hero to me is someone who always has your back, only does things for good, a person who protects you from the smallest things and a person who you would like to be. My family is my hero but mostly my brother. He is older than me a protects me from the littlest things.One day after school, I was hungry, so I started to cut an apple with a knife(it was not a very sharp knife-sharp enough to cut a small apple). My brother then walks in and almost yells "Carina- what are you doing with that knife in your hand?!!" I said "I'm just cutting an apple." Then he goes "Okay, stop I need to do it" He was protecting me from cutting my hand, or something. That is just one out of many things my brother has protected me from, this was a very recent one, like 3-4 months ago! I also have one sort of like this one from over the break!

  15. To me, a hero is somebody who does good for others. They may do it just to stand up for what they believe in, or they do it because it sounds like a good idea. Hero's are people that you can count on, they might not be "super" hero's and be able to fly and have super-strength, but they have a great heart. My mom is a hero to me because, she is an AMAZING baker and she wanted to give back to the community. So she decided to go to this meeting place that has birthday parties for homeless children. She wanted to volunteer to make a teddy-bear cake, get a stuffed animal and much more stuff, just so that a homeless child could have their first birthday special.

  16. I would have to say that my dad is my hero. A hero is someone who puts others before them, weither it's dangerous. My dad does so much for our family. He makes money, he cooks, cleans, fixes things and gives up his time for us. To me, he's not just my hero, he's also my role model. Life for him was hard coming from Vietnam, but through the past 15 years, he accomplished a lot. I'm proud to be his son.

  17. a hero to me is some one who serves the greater good and asks nothing in return. I dont think some one is a hero for having something bad happen to them. I think one of my hero's is forest gump. He has the morals that all people should have. no joke.

  18. i consider someone a hero if they do something only just for the fact that it is helping someone and not for getting something in return. in my eyes, my mom is my hero. she does loads of things and buys stuff that i need and doesn't expect anything in return.

  19. I think a hero is somebody that i look up to like my parents or some NBA players. I look up to some NBA players because they are not weird dudes like other people and they are good at basketball. I look up to my parents because they are nice and they seem to do everything right.

  22. I think any one who helps other without profit or forced to is a hero. Like the two people that tackled the gun man that shot the senator and the innocent people out side the store, also any one who gives his or her time to the community or people that are less fortunate
