Hello everyone and welcome to our classroom blog. This blog will serve as a weekly online journal entry. It will be a way to earn points for Language Arts class but SO much more. It will be a way for you to get your voice out there! Every week there will be a discussion topic/question posted by yours truly and it will be your job to respond. Your response may be in direct relation to the topic or may be a comment about another student's response. The topics will vary but your job will remain the same. Respond to the topic in as much detail as you find necessary and in as genuine a matter as possible!

Blog #7 week of Jan 24-28

Block 3/4 only!

Mid terms are here! Which means we are officially halfway through your 8th grade year.  Tell me how you are feeling about that. Are you happy with your grades? Any goals for the last half of the year? Any regrets so far?

For this post, I would like a minimum of 2 well-written sentences.

    The only thing that makes me happy about that is that it's closer to the school year being over. On the other hand, I have PE next trimester which I'm totally and postitively thrilled about. Psh, yeah right. And I guess my grades are good, I think? I might wanna check again. But, I am definetley going to make sure that I keep my grades up and keep them up for the rest of the year. No regrets. I think people shouldn't have regrets I mean what happened has happened and there is no looking back. :)

    I am really happy with this yeear. Except for the fact that it has gone by so fast! I think this year is alot easier then 7th grade. My goal for the last half of the year is to keep my grades up and make sure everything is done on time.

    For me my grades could be better but they are not the worst. I just wish that I spent a little more time on homework as my regrets. I am looking foward to beter grades because I know that I do beter in the second half of the school year. My goals are to make beter grades and not go to summer school so I can play baseball in the summer.

    I am very happy that it is mid-term;and i am very happy with my grades. The only goals i have for the last half of the year is to get all A's and to get my 40 hours of community service hours, cause i am really strugglin with that. I don't have any regrets at all actually, i am just so excited to get to high school.-Wendy F.

    I am happy that I have gotten through half of the years without any major complaints. I am, mostly happy with my grades. I'll keep trying to keep them up and constant. This year has been a fun and interesting so far!! Regrets.. The only one I have is I always have to move away from my table group in 3/4 period but I will live!!

    For this Trimester I am happy about my grades. I would like to keep this up until the end of the year. This midterm is officially halfway through the year, and I will be heading off to High school soon... A Goal I would like to achieve is to do well on Stanford testing and the A.S.P, or whatever its called now. Ben Tran

    Halfway through the school year means only half a year left until highschool! That sounds a little frightening. I'm happy with my grades and I don't have anything in particular that I want to get done. Im just looking forward to another great 1 1/2 trimesters.

    I am fine that mid-terms are here. Just another half of the year and then it is the summer where I am free to do whatever I want. My grades are fine, I'm still trying to raise the B's that I have in classes but otherwise things are good. The goal for the last of the year for me is that I get staight A's by the end of the year. So far this year there are no regrets. Keep your fingers crossed.:)

    I'm pretty happy through this 8th grade year. I've gotten great grades. Way, better than last year. I've been doing really good & I'm proud of myself for what I've achived. I don't know what my goals are but one of them could be like: Getting straight A's on the last report card of the year. :D I've not got any regrets except for one: Turning in a 20 point assinment in late for science & only getting half of the credit! D;<
    Also a great thing to add to my 8th grade year is that I have a super-duper amazing Hummanites Teacher! :D

    I am happy that it is already mid-term because there is now only half a year till summer. I have all A's so i am happy with that and want to keep it up throughout the rest of the year. I dont have any complaints at all so, thats good I am really pleased with my writing this year, last year I didnt do well so now I am getting all 4's in writing.

    I am happy that it is mid-term!! Half way 'till summer!! yay!! I am happy with my grades, they are all good. Some goals for me would be to continue to get good grades!! So far, I have had no regrets, but that could easly change. ;)

    I am pretty satisfied with my grades so far. I have all A's, and one or two B's. It makes me sad that it's already half way through the year. I'm going to miss middle school, and how much easier it is than high school's probably going to be. I found 8th grade much easier than 7th. I'm happy with how organized I am this year, compared to last. My goal is to continue to maintain my grade, and stay organized.

    I am pretty happy that it is mid term already because i know that there is only a couple months left until summer. The only regret is that i cant get my grades to be perfect and would like them to be all A's but otherwise, its all good. I am pretty excited to go to high school soon because some of my 9th grade friends says its pretty sweet there at liberty.

    The year is almost over! Well I do believe that I did very well this year I got all A's in 1 trimasters. I only hope that when I end this year I will end with a BANG.

    I am feeling very happy that i am almost halfway through my 8th grade year. My grades aren't the best because I get bored an lose focus, a goal of mine for the rest of the year is to try my best to keep focus no matter how bored I get. A regret of mine so far is losing focus.

    I am kinda happy that mid terms are here. i am happy with the grades that I have because I have never done very well in humanities but they are almost B's now so I'm good.i would like to improve those grades for those are my lowest. and so far i dont have any regrets

    So far I've had a pretty good year.
    Beside the fact that my grades have been less than satisfactory, it's been fun.
    I've recently signed up for the talent show,
    and am hoping to get in.
    I'm trying to get good grades and keep the up
    because ti feels goo to accomplish.

    I was happy with my grades I had all A's and B's but then somthing happened and now i have two C's but I think they might be back to B's now so im really happy with that. I dont have any regrets. Im happy with my grades.

    My goals for this Trimester are to get my grades up past D's at least C's and B's maybe A's if im lucky. My regrets are letting my grades get this bad. I will try to fix that and keep them up through my highschool years.

    Gosh, I can't believe mid-terms are here! This year has gone by so fast! I'm midly-happy with my grades at this point, but I really want to improve them. I don't have any regrets so far, but we still have a half a year XD!!!

    Its pretty crazy. I can't believe that we are already have through the school year. Its gone by pretty fast. As of so far this trimister i am happy with my grades. I was pretty made though because i didn't get an a in spanish but i now if i tried harder i could have so i now i know i just need to work harder.

    I'm happy that the years halfway over, that just means we're halfway to summer vacation. My grades are great and i've had no regrets this year. Although as Hanna said that could easily change. My only goal for the rest of the year is to get straight A's.

    I'm happy that i'm am halfway through the school year because it went by fast and that probably means that the other half will go by fast. I pretty happy with my grades i think i could get one or two of them better but over all they are good. I regret spacing off in class sometimes.
