Hello everyone and welcome to our classroom blog. This blog will serve as a weekly online journal entry. It will be a way to earn points for Language Arts class but SO much more. It will be a way for you to get your voice out there! Every week there will be a discussion topic/question posted by yours truly and it will be your job to respond. Your response may be in direct relation to the topic or may be a comment about another student's response. The topics will vary but your job will remain the same. Respond to the topic in as much detail as you find necessary and in as genuine a matter as possible!

What makes a hero in my eyes. They are respectful, they can make a day better. They know how to make you happy by just being around them. Even if they don't have a perfect life; They'll make the most of it. When your around them, you know your safe. The reason for this is because my hero is my mum.
ReplyDeleteShe's never had a perfect life, she's made the most of it. She knows how to make you feel safe no matter what your situation is. My mum is respectful to everyone. Sometimes she can be to nice though. She can make your day better by just smiling.
I remember one day I was in the worst mood and my mom helped me get happier through the day. She told me I didn't worry about what is happening because it's not problem. She's a great mum and I love her. (:

A hero in my eye's is someone who is caring and smart. Someone who always knows what to do and is there when you need them. Like, say you were eating cookies when your mom told you not to. Because shes not home you eat one and you go to grab another one when you spill th orange juice. All of a sudden the garage starts to open and your moms home . Just then your HERO (sister,brother or grandma...) comes in and gives you a mop when you were cleaning the mess with paper towels and just when you are done and are washing the mop your mom comes in... and says "Oh thats nice of you to mop the kitchen, thank you." That was just a made up story, but in my eye's a hero doesn't only come to your side when you are in big troubles but also small, pointless ones. My hero is my daddy because always takes my side when my mommy and I disagree and he always knows what to say to make me feel better.

ReplyDeleteI consider a hero to be someone who always does the right thing, without having to be told. A hero can also be someone who is there for you in good and bad times, someone who'll have your back basically all the time. Someone i consider to be a hero is one of my friends Isabelle Ashraf because she always does the right thing and is always there for all her friends. For example, she knows that i don't eat lunch all the time so she'll always come check on me to see if i eat something.-Wendy F.
ReplyDeleteA hero to me is someone who really makes the right decisions and someone who looks out for others; they are serious but can joke. My dad is someone who is a here to me because he understands me, we have the same type of humor and most important he always looks after me and my family and makes decisions based on what other people want or need.

To me, a hero is someone who puts their self in front of others. My mom is my hero because even if we have almost no money, she manage to put food on the table everyday.
ReplyDeleteIn my eye a hero is someone who is smart,brave,and talented.For someone that is smart they what to do at any time and any place,also the are very confedent.If someone is brave then they are not afrade to take on new calange.Last if they are talented then they have mor of the abilty to do more things.
ReplyDeleteIn my eyes a hero is someone who cares for everyone. They are respectful and make the most out of what they have. They don’t complain if something doesn’t go exactly the way they wanted. They also don’t ask for anything in return when they do something good. My hero is my mom because she is respectful of everyone and she is always is happy with what she gets and she doesn’t ask for anything in return.
ReplyDeleteTo me a hero is someone who does deeds, gives gifts, and does what's right without expecting anything in return. This person is also kind, fair, and brave. This person knows what's right and acts toward a goal to right the wrong. They stick up for the weak and defendagainst the strong. Usually this person is a good team player. My heros are my parents. They always help me up when I'm down and tells me to shoot for the stars. They stay on my side and encourage me to reach for my goals. They've encouraged me through sports and academics. They helped me end up where I am.

A hero in my eyes, their attributes should be courages, brave, selfless, and they dont want a reward. My dad is my hero because he always knows what to say when I need the help with something or when I am upset.
ReplyDeleteA hero in my eyes is someone that cares for the lives of others before thers. They also know what to say and never take payments. A hero for me in my aunt. She takes in animals that need fostering. When she was in collage she once had 3 kittens in the bathroom, 4 puppies, an older dog, 3 birds and a rat. Now she owns 3 horses, a donkey, 2 dogs, 2 pigmey goats (tiny goats) and 2 rabbits. She really loves animals just like me and I one day hope to be just like her.

A hero is someone who will do something, for the sake of others, for no reward. They'll try their hardest and give their best efforts to help or change or befriend someone else. They'll be kind and won't judge and would be very selfless.
ReplyDeleteTo me a hero is someone who will rsik their lives to save others, always know what to say and never ask for a reward in the end. To me, my hero is my dad because he always knows what to say in tough situations and what to do if something goes wrong.
ReplyDeleteIn my mind a hero means someone who isn't afriad to do the right thing,despite the consequences. I also think that a hero should be brave and athletic along with atributes like me.

what makes a hero? loyalty,bravery selflessness. a hero to me would be patrick kerney he played defense end for the atlanta falcons and the seattle seahawks. he was exeptionaly selfless he played with a pashion for the game he never gave up on a play. the first time i saw him play was the pro bowl he was the back up witch means since its the probowl that hed play the second-third quarter and the first play he came in the second quarter he used a spin move to evade the oppsing offensive tackle and sacked the quarterback for a eight yard loss

ReplyDeleteA hero is a person that is willing to risk their safety to help someone that they dont even know. Like Superman is a hero cause he goes around town saving people and obiously he doesnt know everyone in the city. Same with batman he goes around stopping evil. Another part of a hero is you have to be a good person and not expect an award.
A hero in my eyes is someone who is able to help in any way. My friend was a hero when he helped me when i hurt my self snowboarding, when my brother just laughed.

A hero to me is someone who thinks for other people more than themself, there're always there to help, and they dont have to do anything but they want to. A person who is a hero to me is my dad because i can relate and talk to him a lot more than i can with anyone else.
ReplyDeleteIt is easy to tell who is a hero and who is not. A hero is someone that is selfless, caring, brave, do things without reward, and is honest. I think that my dad is a hero he has help so many people and tryes everyday to help more. I hope that when I grow up I can be a hero like my dad.
ReplyDeleteA hero to me would be very fit and athletic. Also they would be a big role model and always do the right thing without expecting anything in return. A person I consider my hero would be Michael Jordan. He was the greatest basketball player and he is my inspiration.

A person who is my hero is my older sister Michelle. She is a very strong person and she always help out without expecting a reward. She's always there whenever I need it.

I've been aa fan of him even scense I saw my first movie with him staring in it(Terminator). He is strong, smart, and the governor of Florida.

They help, just to help. Just for the sake of it. My hero would probably be my Aunt. Through all of the family problems, she's the one to seam it all back together. She's a genuinely caring person.

To me a hero is somebody that will do things for other people without expecting a reward in return. These people are nice, caring, selfless and brave. They are also honest and they always try to do the right thing and help other people. My hero is my mom. She helps me whenever I have a problem and she will do anything for my family.

In my mine a hero is a erson who looks out for others. They don't have to have super powers, that's somewhat makebelieve. They just have got to not be selfcentered.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any particular hero in my life but I have a story about a hero. In a flood one a thirteen yearold boy told rescuers to save his brother first. When they came back for the boy, he was past on. This boy showed that he whatched out for his brother and wasn't selfcenter. In my eyes he was hero for his brother.
