  1. Yay, I'm finally getting out of Maywood! That doesn't mean i hate the time i spent in middle school, the 3 years at Maywood was amazing! I can't say that they are the best over all, because i got the rest of my life that i haven't seen... But there the best so far! I liked (not loved) bonding with my friends, mooching off others and spending time with all of my teachers! I regret a few things a little bit, but that's the past! I will miss everyone i endured school with (Teachers and Friends!), but i might visit sometime :) Last words that aren't cheesy? If you ain't first, your last or your life is what you make of it. -Ethan Le

  3. Wow. I can't believe next year we'll all be going into high school. I still remember the first day of Maywood like it was yesterday. Overall, these last 3 years have been pretty good, nothing too bad has happened and its been pretty fun. I have definitely changed since elementary school, I believe for the better. I have learned that I need to be me rather than be what other people want me to be. But I am excited for high school to start, only a few more months! I'm gonna miss all the Maywood teachers and all my friends that aren't going to Liberty *cough, cough, Megan, cough cough*. But it'll be fun writing in everybody's yearbook and just enjoying this last bit of school that we have.

  4. Oh, my! It IS hard to think that I'm going to leave Maywood! This year, I've learned a whole bunch of things like, about the Civil War and slavery. At the beginning of the year, before we got our schedules, I was hoping I got Mrs. Nadell...... And I did! :) SO GLAD. I was also hoping that this year would be easier than seventh grade, and it was. I will miss all the fun times that I had at Maywood and I will never forget! I don't have anything that I'd regret. Hmmmmmm, I won't forget any of the friends I've made this year and I hope to see everyone go on to Liberty, sadly Megan won't be going to Liberty nex year :,( . And I I'd I had to say some last words is that Maywood is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I don't want it to be over so soon!

  6. This year was wonderful and I have learned so much. I love how you have taught us in such an enthusiastic way; and that has helped make my 8th grade year wonderful. I'm going to miss the maywood teachers very much. They are kind and nice. My final words would be: Thank you for a great 2 years and your service of educating the adults of the future.

  7. It felt like my middle school experience went by really really fast. I don't think its even fully sunken in yet. I have learned a lot this year, which I might forget over the summer. I have loved most of my classes, and the people in them that make it enjoyable. Big thanks to all my teachers (especially Mrs. Nadell). Believe it or not, we all appreciate you! I will miss seeing my friends and teachers over the summer, and I'm excited for new thing at Liberty! Final words: I'm off to find the GOOD in goodbyes. -Brian Tran

  8. This year, I have learned alot more about writing, grammer, literature, american history, etc. I've loved learning about the Civil War and how it changed America. I've wished that I could start this year all over again so I could stay one more time! I've regretted all the mistakes I made in middle school, but it was all for the best. I'll miss all my former and current Maywood teachers and helpers (especially you, Mrs. Nadell), and the final words I want to end with are that Maywood was the best school I went to, and Liberty is going to be awesome!-Lisa Young

  9. Maywood. Maywood. Maywood. Where do I even start? Even though I have only been here for 3 years this has been probably the best place ever. I have so many great memories here I cant even start explaining. I will miss the teachers, the lifestyle, and just about everything. I will especially miss Mrs Nadell who just about taught me every single Civil War fact. She has also has taught me about the American Revolution and I love learning about wars. I mean all that great history! My last words I want to go out on is "wow Im going to miss him" from all the teachers. But don't worry Maywood Ill come back and visit you through the bad and good memories you have made it one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. -Cody Hughes

  10. I'm so glad Maywood is finally over! Maywood wasn't exactly bad but it wasn't the best. Hanging out with my friends all year long I truly believe has been the best thing I could ask for this whole school year. I have had the best group of teachers this year and I am partially sad its coming to an end. just about 20 more school days and its off to summer vacation at last what everyone waits for!!!!!! So long Mrs. Nadell :) Austin Regis

  11. Okay I guess I learned some pretty cool things, I loved lunch and SDR, staying after school at the library, anything non-work related, and well this class is the most interesting humanities class I've ever been a part of. Which is a good thing. In my view. I haven't really wished for anything besides wishing to be magically sick some days, and wishing for snow. I can't think of anything that I regret, It's just life, and that's that. I will defiantly miss the people who aren't going to liberty, and I will miss all of my Maywood teachers for the past 3 years, and I'll miss my 5th 6th and 7th grade friends too when I start going to high school... :c Hmmmm... Well... Summer... Looking forward to sleeping in late and watching south park all day... Fun times. My final words on this blog will be; NO YOU'RE A TOWEL! Mmkay, bye guys.

  12. Danggg, schools almost over? Time went by like a flash! This year has been great. I've seen the real in people and got to none more people. I've only been at Maywood for 2 years but it seems longer! Looking back to last year i wished i was more out there and just able to talk to random people so i'd have more buds here and there but its okay. I really enjoy having the teachers that i have because they've all taught me so much. I really do appreciate everything they've taught me and given to me through class. Humanities especially! The laughter, happiness and sometimes serious times are the best. Everyone just makes the class so enjoyable and i hope it'll be like that for the next 8th graders. But i'll really miss having less homework and not so many tests? I'm pretty sure High school is going to double as hard but lets hope i get through it all! Say goodbye to the oldies, but goodies,
because the good old days weren't always good, and tomorrow aint as bad as it seems.

  15. This was a great year. the time went by to fast it seems like only yesterday was September or something. the year was fun which is great compared to the first 2 years at maywood. i had fun hanging out with friends doing school sports and meeting so many new people. I will miss all my great teachers and some of my friends who are leaving but most of all i will miss the fun maywood gave to me. high school is a whole new level and we will all need to step it up so these last few weeks at maywood are going to be the best yet. 16. I think I'm a little late. Anyway Mrs. Nadell I loved this year. I loved everything about it and most of all I loved having your class. This class went by faster than the North's chances at winning (that went by pretty fast). I learned a lot of things from US History to how to be a better person. I will miss the laughs we share. I'll miss learning brand new things from Mrs. Nadell. I will miss making fun of Ron the Canadian, or Luke's girlfriend, or Alex's girlfriend. My only regret is that I didn't appreciate you enough. I don't even know if you will see this or not but I feel like I should do it for old times sake. I can tell by the tears on your face that you will remember it all. I just hope that after you cry because it's over, that you smile because it happened.
