  1. My favorite part of JA was searching for a house and cars. Our house was really nice in LA, CA. And we only had to rent for 1,666.66 a month so my group was pretty happy. We had 4 bedrooms, & 6.5 bathrooms. Enough to have 3 roommates. For a car we got some type of Ford car and yeah we got a nice one that was pretty cheap too. Even tho we were soccer players who could spend a ton of money. We learned how to budget and make sure we dont go over our budgets. I think that the hardest part of this JA was probably the Home Improvement stuff, I didnt really understand what I needed for it and a lot of it wasnt making sense. But now I understand it so I'm all goods. Maybe the most stressful part is when you have to decide for things you need and want. Some things were necessary but most things weren't. So its hard on discussion making.

  3. So far in our JA unit... I found getting a house and bills the hardest because you can't always find a good house that fits your budget. I mean, me and Caitlin spent a good chunk of our time trying to find a good house or apartment which we did successfully. The best part so far for me was the food shopping, getting my meals planned out. But it got really frustrating sometimes because we had to assume i was buying my bread and such when we usually make it from scratch, but i like knowing that its my money that i'm buying my food with. Hehehehe Caitlin was horrified to see my menu consist mostly of fruits and veggies and not many sweets. :)

  4. Most likely the intricacy that goes with having to manage a budget bothers me most. what i liked the most was the creativity you could have.

  8. The part that I liked most about the unit was keeping track of the different stocks. I thought it was cool to see the difference each day if the company was increasing or decreasing. And I think the part that was confusing was totaling up all the money that my group had.

  10. the part of JA that i have defiantly liked the most might have be that im a soccer player and i get a LOT of money...... Haha just kidding(even though its still a good part). i think i like the fact that we get to pick our house and our car. i mean that was fun. just looking at places that you could live= EXCITING. mostly because all the houses we looked at were really cool and in a hot climate. i would like to learn more about stocks because that is one of the most confusing things i have ever known. it might have been the most stressful-est thing too. i bet even after the field trip i wont get it. another more stressful part was seeing all the money you worked hard to make was spent clothes and groceries and insurance. And you work so hard too

  11. The part i really ejoyed would be, getting a carrear and a family, buying a home, and a car. The part i would like to learn most about would be the stocks becuase i dont really understand what the use of the stocks are and i dont understand what they are but that is somting i would like to learn most about. The part of adult hood that sems the most scary is making shure i dont over spend on things becuase going threw that i did overspend and that worried me the most...

  13. My favorite part was picking my house. The part I learned the most was about how much you really spend on clothes, the house, and cars. It was kinda stressful but because we had so much money it wasn't that stressful.

  17. My favorite part about JA was finding a house, car & clothes. I would like to learn more about stocks and about loans and that sort of thing. It is still a little bit confusing to me. The part of adulthood that seems confusing to me is paying for all the different taxes. I never knew how many taxes there were!

My favorite part about JA was we had a real life situtation. I also liked finding all of the taxes i had to pay & going to each business & paying them.
