Block 1/2 Only!
In Social Studies we talked about the advantages the Patriots had during the American Revolution. We decided there were only a few. Which advantage do you think, in your most humble opinion, was the most important and why?

I think an advantage would be that the patriots would have a stronger confidence after a first battle. Then the British would probably get scared and retreat. Another advantage is that the British came to an unknown area. (America)and had noo idea what it was like. So the colonists had an advantage to hide in different places without the British knowing where they were. Those were some advantages.

I think that the best advantage the patriots had was that they had smart military leaders like goerge washington. Without leaders like him they would have never won. I doesnt mater how many people are in the army if you have a stupid leader. If the stupid general has a bad battle plan then he could lead his army into failure. Then the other army would win because they had a smart leader.

an advantage that i think the patriots had was that they had spies to look out for them i guess. i mean they had one for the battle in lexington and concord, one for the something hill battle (the name i cant think of the name off the top of my head but it starts with a b). they always had a spy. a spy would help them be the first one ready to fight between them. when the british finally start their plan the colonist already have made a plan and was waiting for them
ReplyDeleteI think one advantage was that they knew the territory. They do live in America and the British don't, so they know the terrain its the colonists turf. Example: You can't come to my home and try to tackle me because 1) you would have to chase me down but I know where to step and where not to step because its my home and I know the best ways through the forest part of my yard. 2) I would be prepared in my own way to win the wrestling match. This is how it was for the colonists, and they had France and most of the other colonies on their side so the British were kinda stupid to think they ould just come to America and win when they don't know the turf as well.

I believe that the patriots greatest advantage was George Washington. He knew the american wilderness like the back of his hand and was one of the few patriots with real military experience. He solely manifested the patriots advantage.

I think their pride passion anf hearts was their biggest advantage! The home turf was also another but not as big big ass the other. Goerge WA also played a huge part.

home turf was a better advantage. having bold hearts is great and all, but youve got to have more than that. without places to hide, and snipe from, the colonists would be dead. bold hearts no longer beating. they would live and win with home turf AS WELL as bold hearts.

I think there passion about being a free was the most important. The patriots wanted to be free so badly that they would risk there life for America.

I think the best advantage that the patriots had was George Washington. He was the man who had real experience with the military. And also I think that the greatest advantage was that the patriots fought on their home land. They knew where everything was. The British on the other hand did not know much about the Patriots home ground.

I think the biggest advantage was that the colonist because they needed to win because they were fighting for there country not like the british they were just fighting because king Goerge told them to.

i think the patroits biggest advantage was their gtreat genreal G dub. he knew that the men that follow him into battle evertime. so that is what i think george washington was the patroits biggest advantage.
