Hello everyone and welcome to our classroom blog. This blog will serve as a weekly online journal entry. It will be a way to earn points for Language Arts class but SO much more. It will be a way for you to get your voice out there! Every week there will be a discussion topic/question posted by yours truly and it will be your job to respond. Your response may be in direct relation to the topic or may be a comment about another student's response. The topics will vary but your job will remain the same. Respond to the topic in as much detail as you find necessary and in as genuine a matter as possible!

i have no idea why the election is so close its ethir vote for the curent president who did a terible job or vote for the guy thatts going to creat jobs rebuild the econimy and generaly do a good job.

I think the elections this year are so close because both candidates are so likeable and they are confident in what they do. I also think it's because voters cant decide which candidate's statements to believe in so thy just go for the more likeable person.

I think that the polls are so close because each presidents have some positive and negative things about them. It is interesting to me because whoever wins will become the president for the next four years and makes the decisions for our country.-Cody Hughes

ReplyDeleteThe elections are very interesting to me because I really care about the future of this country, if the wrong person makes the wrong decisions then our generation will be the one's affected, if the current generation cant decrease this debt, than we will be the ones who will have to pay for it, and we will have to work longer and retire later than what we hoped for. Also I like to see what they do during their speeches, like how they use hand motions ;) -Ethan Pepe Le

ReplyDeleteI think it is so close because both presidents have a really good stand on how things should be. The country is also split dead middle so that could come down very close. Honestly i dont really care about it this year normaly i would but i didnt pay any attention towards it.

ReplyDeleteI think the election is so close because both representatives are so strong on what they believe in. I wasn't into the election thing until we started talking about it in class. Its actually really interesting.
I think the election is so close this year because there is almost an equal amount of good and bad stuff about each candidate. The US is kind of in a bad place right now, so everyone is looking for a president that can change that, and thats hard when there are so many opinions out there and you don't know what to believe. The election is interesting to me because the candidate that is elected has to be a good leader for the next four years. - Brian Tran

I think the election is close because both of the candidates have very different oppinions that make it so half the nation agrees and disagrees. I think this is important because the president who got chosen, no matter if its Obama or Romney, has to rebuild an America that isnt doing so hot.

I think the polls show the election was so close between Obama and Romney because the democract and republican parties are pretty even. Also, both of the candidates were equally liked. They both have good and bad things about them, but this election was pretty much even. I think all this a little childish because Obama and Romney were arguing back in forth like they werent on television where everyone was watching. I dont really think any of them are worthy of being presidant. Its really insteresting that America would vote for any of those 2 guys.

I think its important because its our future and with obama it can either be an amazing or a super duper amazing future. I love watching the election because it makes me actually want to eat cup a noodle.

ReplyDelete^Haha favorite comment yet. Anyways, I think both of the elections are so close because to most people, there isn't really a reason to hate either one of them. They both have some flaws, but there's no such thing as someone who's perfect. You might think "But Obama's perfect!" or "Romney has no flaws!" Well that might be how you see it, but no matter who you are or what you do, there will always be somebody who will point out your flaws. Obama and Romney both have a decent amount of great things about them and care about our country equally. So I think either one of them would make a great president, but personally, I was hoping for Obama.Before we studied the elections, I couldn't care less about the topic. I didn't really understand what democrat or republican meant. I just thought the voting was based on the popular vote. The more we talked about the election and how everything worked, I got a lot more interested. So interested, that I actually watched the elections this year. Everybody in my family can vote, except for me. They didn't watch the elections when I was and I thought that was kinda funny. I felt pretty smart when my parents or brothers would say something about the election that they didn't really understand and I could sit there and tell them how it works. So I really think this might've been my favorite topic so far this year.

They both seemed equally confident and care about our country. If Romney became president, I would be fine, but he just kinda creeps me out a little bit. I saw a movie with a man who looked just like him. The man ended up being a pedophile. I just think that the last four years, Obama has been a great president and I think we should give him another chance of proving that even more. I feel like Obama will be making some even better choices than he has since 2008. Before we studied the election, I honestly couldn't care less about the election. I didn't know the difference between a democrat or a republican and I thought the election was always based on the popular vote. I had never even heard of an electoral college. But now that I know what everything is and how it works, I actually watched the election this year. I was the only one in my family who watched and I'm the only one who can't vote, so I thought that was kinda funny. So it was kinda nice being able to explain things to them instead of the other way around. I'm happy for Obama and I feel like he's gonna be making some historical decisions that bennefit us all.
