Week of 11/1-11/5

Block 3/4 only     BLOG #10

Hello and happy Monday bloggers. Hope this weekend was great and filled with yummy treats a few old-fashioned tricks.  I will give you a choice for this week. You may answer one or both if you like

A.  How was your Halloween weekend? What did you do? Describe some memorable moments.  I took my two little ones to a Halloween party at the Bouncy Place and then trick-or-treated. Riley was Buzz Lightyear and Owen was a giraffe :)  Your turn....

B. What scares you? What are you truly afraid of?  For me, I am deathly afraid of rats and of driving off of a bridge into the water (Yes, I know my fears are far-fetched and maybe ridiculous, but they are still my fears..so that makes them valid.) Your turn...

As always, blog by Friday morning... Happy Blogging!

The memorable moments were probably when I got scared my friend Shelby. He hid in a bush when I went up to the house to get candy. I yelled for his name but when I turned around. There he was! I was scared out of my mind but I got a good laugh out of it too!

  5. Well, this last weekend on halloween kinda sucked. I couldn't trick or treat because I didn't really have a costume to wear. I just watched movies and handed out candy, so as you can see, It wasn't very exciting.

Now about my fears, I am mostly afraid of, (this may seem childish) is ghosts. I don't know why, but they just really creep me out.

  6. For Halloween Josh and I went trick-or-treating around my neighborhood (the Newcastle Elementary area). I went as a Ninja and Josh Had some scary jack o lantern mask. We decided to go up to Parker Johnson's house. When we got there, his driveway was pitch black. And it was really long. I had convinced Josh that someone would jump out of the bushes and take one of us so Josh stayed behind me and held on the my shirt. It turned out Parker wasn't home and we just continued to get candy. My biggest fears are being eaten alive and exorcism stuff.

  7. My Halloween weekend was really really fun. Even before Sunday I was at a soccer which was interestinf because the other team only had 8 players. We win 9 to 1 so that set the weekend off to a good start. For Halloween I got together with about 20 people in Newcastle and went trick-or-treating together. I must have gotten 5 pounds of candy. That may not seem like a lot but for me it was enough. At one of the houses all the lights were off and sitting outside with candy in its lap was a gorilla. It looked stuffed but as I walked up with Hanna we saw it scare away some other treaters. We waited for our friends to catch up and then asked them to grab some candy for us. They unknowingly walked up onto the porch and as the grabbed the candy Mr. Gorillaman jumped up out of his seat and my friends took off down the droveway. They even dropped the candy! Now that seemed unbelievable. Afterwards we all traded candy and I got piles of all of my favorites. It was a good weekend. :)

  10. For Halloween this year I went to my cousin Payton’s house. I dressed as an Eskimo and he dressed as a Rapper. We went trick-or-treating and got some candy… not as much as we originally planned but it’s better than nothing. My biggest fear is spiders. They are so gross with their hairy legs and 8 eyes. I hate how they purposely put webs exactly where you will walk.

  11. My weekend was alright. we had 2 soccer games but lost both to really good teams. On sunday after my soccer game I went trick or treating with my 18 and 17 year old sister and their friends who dressed as the cool disney princesses. I was suppose to go as a prince but didnt work at all on my costume so i went as Cristiano Ronaldo (my favorite and best soccer player in the world). It was fun and i had a good time. : ) I am scared of spiders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

B.while we were walking there was a large boom somewhere in the distance and that it what scared me the most and this might sound corny but what scares me the most is when it is really dark and there is no noise then you hear something and you almost freak out

  16. 1.On Halloween i didnt do much. I woke up took a shower and did my homework(I had alot thank you teachers!)Annyway I then just started to watch scary movies while shoving my face full of popcorn. They were all on tv so i saw only the ends of them but i saw, The strangers, Halloween 5 revenge of michael myers, and I saw hide and seek. That was soo creepy because the dad of the girl was going to kill her. I rented A Nightmare On Elm Street the original and it was soo cool especially when tina was in a body bag and drug down the hallway and a thick trail of blood followed.
    2. Nothing really scares me i love halloween its my favorite holiday i like blood and that creepy stuff. Even though I like that stuff scary movies still freak me out. Spiders also look like alien animals and i dont like them they are really scary i know this is off topic but my phyco aunt puts piders in a cup and sings the highest pitch ever and they hiss at her. I myself think thats kinda funny cause i dont like spiders. The last things im afraid of is darkness and kidnappers. Im not afraid of a killer but I am afraid of what someone could do to me while i am alive. They could torture me and do other things...I also dont like the dark because someone could be hiding in your room watching you and you could be none the wiser. You could be in the woods in a tent and a killer could be outside your tent.

  18. B.I think what scares me the most is when I am home alone and I start thinking about events or ghost stories that are supposedly real and then I will hear a noise when I am trying to go to bed.Especially in the dark at night.

  20. Last weekend, I went trick or treating with my friends. About four friends came over, we got ready, had dinner, and just hung out. When it was 6:30, we headed out and trick or treated until 9:00. It was really fun, and there were a lot of laughs. Many memories were made.

  21. Last weekend for Halloween I went trick or treating around Ben's neighbor for about two hours. He had convided me to come with him. So, I finally gave up and came along. He was a black nijia and I was the Grim reaper (not a jack o lantern). How the story really went about Parkers house was when we were walking up Parker's drive way Ben started yelling Parkers name thinking he was hiding in the bushes. And I beleive him considering the path had no light. Ben said if anything came out and grabed him he himself would take it out with a few kicks and punches here and there. In the end I was glad I went because now I have a stack of candey in my bedroom.

  22. On halloween my friend Caitlin came over and we watched a movie. Then we went out and had teriyaki for dinner. We ate wayyyy too much candy and danced around like idiots to the new songs we had bought on I-tunes early that day. I'm am terrified of spiders. Even the little tiny ones! I also hate being home alone when it's dark outside. I freak out at every little sound because I think somebody is either watching me or about to come up behind me a kill me.

  23. A.) My Halloween weekend was amazing. I went trick or treating with my bestfriend and some other friends. The moment I remember the most is when Madeline, Brook, Azan, Charles and I were slowly walking up to this house. It had a big grass man on the porch with a purple porch light and lightening bultz coming from somewhere. Of course they made me knock. I knocked and the door opened slowly and creepily; i screamed. When it was finally all the way open a really tall man probably on stiltz was slowly walking towards up with an axe and a max with him. There was one of those flashing lights that made it even scarier. Next the tall grass man we thought was fake booed us! We all screamed for that one. Finally a nice lady in a batwomen costume came from behind the door and gave us candy. After that we quickly ran away.

B.) My biggest fears are the dark and ghost like things. When ever im in the dark I think of ghosts. Which makes me scared enough to cry and pee my pants. Which makes me need a night light and some noise going on to this day.

  25. My Halloween weekend was boring. On saturday I had a soccer game that was cold and foggy. On sunday I carved my pumpkin then at night I didn't go trick-or-treating but I watched the Sounders vs. Galaxy soccer game.

Nothing really scares me me but I'm afraid of elevators. I'm afraid of them because of an elevator in an oldfolks home i rode a lot, that elevator was really slow and creepy. Also at a JCPennys I tried to put my hand in the door to open the door but the door didn't open and shut on my hand. That's why I'm afraid of elevators.
