Columbus brought many diseases that native Americans had no immunity against killing millions. He and the other explorers enslaved them tearing apart families.
ReplyDeleteChristopher was a murderer, he enslaved thousands of the natives, and brought many diseases with him. He claimed the so-called "new world" his own just because he landed there instead of India! Popularity wasn't the only thing Columbus wanted, it was also gold; he is one of the greediest explorers to ever live.

I agre with CC because Columbus came to America, not meaning to make people die with illnesses but did. If it wasn't Columbus then somebody else would have come along and gave it to them. Columbus changed the lifes of many people by dicovering new lands. Also, by creating a democracy and new and improved ideas. Alos, by expanding trade routes so more goods could come.
ReplyDeleteColumbus changed their lives by giving them foods and animals they had never seen before. He also gave them terrible diseases like small pox. The natives also believed he was a god so they worshiped him.
ReplyDeleteColumbus made deaths to the natives and there land. Also, he had brought many weapons and un-known killing tools to. He had all his people kill the natives. This not only killed the natives but shattered there history. Now that Columbus killed the natives there are not Manny story's about the natives that were shared.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking out by Kelly;
ReplyDeleteChristopher Columbus raped one of the Indian women in the Native American tribes, and that to me is a very disrespectful thing to there culture. Doing something with someone that is being forced, and I just don't think that is acceptable to anyone or the tribes. That probably changed there lives thinking how could a man do this to my wife, mother, neighbor, etc..
XOXO, Kelly Le.
Columbus changed the lives of these natives bye bringing them new foods and suplys, the variety to there diet did make them rather sick but if they hadnt had gotten thoughs food we would still be eating potatos and corn every day, with outh esentials like flour and sugar these natives would have never tasted a birthday cake :)

Columbus was a villian; perhaps a murderer. Now, this is so because, he was cruel to the natives and took advantage of them. He made them their slaves. Not only did he do that but, he lied to his men about when they would arrive so that they would not want to go back, and he also he was greedy for gold, and was selfish, wanting things only for himself.

Christopher Columbus was a horrable man who led to the killing of millions of men weomen and children. he also brought over guns and had a obsessive greed for gold. he also was a murderer who would kill people over stealing an apple.

Christopher Columbus came to America and enslaved and killed lots of Native Americans. He also showed over explorers about the new world which made a lot more people come over, who also killed and enslaved Native Americans.
ReplyDeletewhen columbus came to the new world he brought slavery and murder to the natgives. he also brought guns and new inventions that the native people had never seen before. all he wanted was gold and riches and he had to slaughter so many natives to get it. since he discoverd the new world more trading places your open and they could trade better
ReplyDeleteChristopher Columbus brought a new terror with him. He terrorized the natives and cut off their arms for dumb reasons. That makes him a greedy bloodthirsty killer.
ReplyDeleteChristopher Columbus was a meany head. he killed hundreds of Native americans, took advantage of their hospitality, destroyed many many lives, and enslaved them to mine for gold ores. I know he helped start the trading with Europe, Asia, and Asia, but he should've done it with out so many fatalitys. Columbus was about Gold, power, blood, and murder. he made things so much worse for the native americans, including bringing desieses over, when the indians had a very poor immune system.

Christopher Columbus and his men killed thousand of Native Americans. Columbus also introduced slavery to the Native Americans.I think he was one of the worst murderers ever!

Columbus was a over-grown, power hungry killer who just open a gate of harassment on the natives. CC may have only killed a few hundred people(omg). but if it wasn't for him solo would never of came to the Americas, sparing entire villages.
ReplyDeleteColumbus affected the natives in many ways both positive and negative. He brought with him goods to trade with the natives but he also took most of the natives as slaves to sell, took over their land in search of fame and fortune, brought over diseases from Europe to the 'New World' which the natives had no protection against, and murdered the lives of innocent men, women and children for only one goal which was conquest.
ReplyDeleteColumbus arivved her in America with a purpose to find a new world. He did that and much more. When he came to modern day haite he met the Taiono Indians. He later returned back to them and made them into slaves and stole their food. So you see he changed their lives terribly.
ReplyDeletewell columbus found there land and he saw that the native people are very nice and civilaced. so columbus gave a red cape the cheif and the cheif gave him a crown. columbus thought the crown was that he was the king. so he toke over their land and made them mine for gold and the natives would kill them self by jumping of cliffs. also the people were raped and killed and slaves. clomubs also brought many dieases to them.
ReplyDeleteColumbus was a horriable man in many ways he claimed the new world his when he really wasnt the first to find it, columbus killed many people some for no reason. He also inslaved alot of people.I'm sure the native this affected the natvie people because they didn't really know why columbus did this.

Columbus affeced the natives in many ways. One way was by enslaving them and cutting off there hands if they didnt bring back enough gold. But Columbus also brought many items to trade with.

I believe that in some ways, Columbus was a hero. But in many other ways, I think the differ. Columbus was set on a journey for a selfish conquering to the Taino indians home land. He was a man who abused the indians physically, and mentally. The indians had a changed perspective of Columbus later on. Getting to know this selfish man, they knew he was not a good person.
ReplyDelete-Georgia Hope
he contributed disease and death to the native people. He killed people intentional and unintentionally. He also contributed to the mass growth in Christianity and racially diverse people. He contributed to the growth of Europeans as well.
ReplyDeleteChristopher columbus affected in many ways. One thing he did that caught my attention and got me disgusted is that how she treat the slaves when they don't bring him gold, how he dismissed 90% of the natives population. Hahaa, I think no one has said that. But yeah, my overall point is that, because of Christopher columbus many, Many, MANY natives we killed through rape, slavery, and wars.
ReplyDeleteOH YEAH ! Mrs. Nadell, I'm going to have to turn in my lifegraph, monday . still have trouble with the graphing. But yes, monday, Monday,MONDAY !! (:
See you tomorrow (:
it changed peoples lifes because if he didnt find us this land we wouldnt be here today. he also came with diseases that made everyone sick.

Columbus changed the lives of natives in many ways, good and bad. He opened trading routes for natives, and Europeans, but also took land away from many. He also brought disease to the natives, that killed a lot of the population. Even though Columbus, in my eyes was a murderer, if he had not have explored, life today would be very different.
ReplyDeleteColumbus changed the American's lives in more ways of bad, than good. When Columbus first showed up, they thought the Europeans where nice, so they gave them a gold crown as a gift. The Europeans took that as if the natives where telling them they where the boss, and so they started to take over, and the Americans started to hate the Europeans. this is how Columbus changed the lives of the native Americans.
ReplyDeletecolombus changed the course of history. he made the NA's search for gold and abused them if they didnt. he killed many upon many natives. with him, he brought diaseses that killed nearly 20 million people
